We feed over 80 families and individuals every week. That’s equivalent to providing food to well over 14,000 people a year.
From money or food donations to organising collections at your school or office, there are loads of ways you can help make a difference.
Our impact
15
On average we have a team of 15 volunteers every week all helping to collect, organise and distribute food packs.
4,000
Over 4,000 food packs are distributed over the course of a year.
Our Impact
Why we exist
Sometimes it can take a while before long-term support kicks in for those in need. Whether it’s a result of a benefit delay, low income, ill health, homelessness, sickness or housing issues – we are here to help in the short-term.
When a Care Professional identifies a person or family who are experiencing a crisis, they are referred to us and we help by providing them with a non-perishable food-pack that can sustain them for one week.
Help us
by donating food
We welcome all food donations so long as they are non-perishable items (no fresh food). We have a special shopping list which you can download here which is based on the core items that make up our food pack.
Help us by raising funds
We’ve worked with various companies, schools and initiatives across Malta and Gozo since opening our doors in the Summer of 2015. Aside from our Reverse Advent Calendar campaign which we run during Christmas, it is only through the ongoing support of these people that we can operate.
We depend on the help of people who understand the important work that we do. If you would like to get involved and find fun initiatives that can help keep our shelves stocked, please do let us know. We accept all forms of help and donations we receive.
Our network
These are just a few of the NGOs and government organisations we work closely with. We are always happy to work alongside any institution, organisation or charity that works to help those facing financial crisis situations.
